Optional Side Rollers are used to keep the spool flange from rubbing the Roll-A-Reel Chassis. Side Rollers are sold in pairs and are shipped separately. The kit contains two Industrial Grade 2-5/16" diameter Trolley Rollers, two Square Washers, two Lock Washers and two 1/2-13 Nuts.
Side Rollers are optional because, not all of our customers need them. When Roll-A-Reels are LEVEL and the PULLING LOAD is controlled, there is no need for Side Rollers. The three determining factors to consider are level, gravity and no side pull.
Customers who operate Roll-A-Reels based on portability normally require Side Rollers. Applications with UNEVEN GROUND, in or on TRUCKS, and not pulling squarely to the CENTERLINE of the SPOOL, all require Side Rollers. |

The 'SR' Option or Side Rollers are easily added with a 3/4" open end or box wrench, and a 1/4" Allen-type wrench. Roll-A-Reel recommends the use of Side Rollers at all times to be prepared when the job requirements change. |
