Telephone wire reels and telephone cable supplies include reel handling platforms to unwind and rewind wire and cable purchased on wood reels. Whatever supplies you need to purchase on reels, one of our Roll-A-Reel style platforms will handle the job of safely dispensing and rewinding effortlessly. It is a one-person job. Our platforms can be used inside or out for most applications involving the installation or repair of telephone lines either on the pole or underground. Our model Style 'A' (shown below) safely holds one reel up to 1500 pounds. All models can |
be utilized for payout and takeup of telephone wire and cable, they are all fabricated structural steel with galvanized front and rear roller bars. The weight of the reel is dispersed evenly over the platform to prevent tip-over. Simply adjust the rear roller with the self-locating adjustment (no tools needed for this) to accommodate the size reel you will be paying off. The built-in loading ramp is slanted 15 degrees and allows you to roll the reel onto the platform very quickly. The positive spring-loaded roller lock permits easy reel loading and unloading without using a jack or hoist. |
